My Images (...from the mobile phone)

Do you remember the first mobile phone?
If papa remembers correctly the first mobile phone that he has seen was the ATUR 450, the size of a sandwich box, during the 1980s. Then, came the ‘water-bottle’ mobile phone ( because it is really as a big as a 500ml water bottle ) which operated under ART 900 analogue network with the prefix 010, and which later competed with Mobifon, the other analogue network operator with the prefix 018. Soon, other brands such as NEC which was noted by its lightness and supposedly could be flown by a pigeon, as well as the Motorola flip-phone, started making waves. Digital network providers were soon introduced.

Today, mobile phone functions more than a mere…mobile phone.
Technological phrases like GPRS, Bluetooth, 3G and EDGE are building blocks for the mobile phone future.
Today, a mobile phone is also an organizer, a radio tuner, a MP3 player, a game console, a camera, a recorder, a map reader ( it beats a Swiss Army pen knife functionalities ).

Mama upgraded her Sony Ericsson mobile phone recently, and papa quickly saved and posted these images from the old phone…
